What we collect

• Trade data — the CSV file you upload. Your trade data is parsed in your browser. We store only the computed tax summary needed to generate your report.
• Email address — if you create an account for authentication purposes.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your card number, CVV, or billing details. Stripe's privacy policy governs that data.

How we use your data

We use your data solely to generate your tax report and process your payment. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the service you paid for.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or trade data with any third parties. The only external service that receives information from your interaction with 1256.tax is Stripe, for payment processing.

Cookies

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication and payment processing via Stripe. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.

Data deletion

You may request deletion of all data associated with your account at any time by emailing support@1256.tax. We will delete your data within 30 days of receiving your request.
